The Three Most Common Forms Of Health Club Insurance
When you own a health club, finding the right type of insurance can be overwhelming. Because there are so many different activities and exposures, selected a plan that includes all of the services you offer will take research. When you find a reliable commercial insurance agent to assist you in tailoring the right club insurance plan you can select riders and coverage options that suit your needs. There are three different types of club insurance plans to choose from in the health club industry. Understand how each of these three plans differ and choose the one that suits your business best.
Exercise Studio Insurance
Most exercise studio insurance plans are designed to cover small studios with less than 3000 feet of space total. Establishments that offer personal training, yoga, pilates, kick boxing, aerobics, cycling classes, or any other physical activity supervised directly by a fitness professional are covered under this type of health club insurance plan. These plans will offer both on-site and off-site liability protection. If trainers you employ conduct classes off-site under the name of your establishment, claims are covered subject to limitations. Most exercise studio insurance plans offer $3 million in general liability and professional liability coverage.
Circuit Training Health Club Insurance
If you facility exclusively offers circuit training and circuit training exercise programs you will need this type of club insurance plan. Most insurers will limit the size of the facility to 3000 square feet or less. This type of specialty plan has a number of exclusions. If you provide sports instruction, performance classes, physical therapy, or childcare, you may be ineligible. It is important to review the exclusion of this policy in-depth. If several areas of your club are excluded, you may need a health club insurance plan.
Total Health Club Insurance
Health club insurance plans do not limit the size of the facility, however, they may limit the total annual sales of the business. Most moderate plans will limit annual sales to $500,000 or less. In a total health club plan group classes, free weights, resistance machines, circuit training, personal training, and cardio machines are covered. Studios and circuit training facilities over 3000 square feet will be rated under this program. Like the exercise studio plan, both on-site and off-site services are covered. Rates may vary depending on how much workout equipment you are covering.
There is nothing worse than experiencing a claim just to find your claim is not covered because you are carrying the wrong form of club insurance. Your insurance portfolio should be considered a priority. Take time out of your busy schedule to sit down and review your insurance policies. Once you understand what you are carrying, you can decide whether or not you need to increase your coverage.

Does anyone know of a dance instructor in pensacola to teach basic club/hip hop dancing to adults.?
I am a total beginner, I want to be able to go to the club and dance..but all the dance studios I find are either for kids or like ballroom dancing... it can be a studio or an individual.
Try visiting Blazzues on swing night, which is Wednesday night. There are several great dancers that show up there and some are instructors. Everyone loves to dance all kinds of dances, even hip hop. If they don't teach what you want, they can help you get in touch with someone who does teach or someone who can show you a few moves. You will be dancing on the stage at Seville Quarter in no time.
We dance mostly West Coast Swing. Ages range from 17 to 71. The dance floor is packed until almost midnight.
Orion Hall gives a short intermediate West Coast Swing lesson starting at 7:00 and a beginner lesson at 7:30 for $5. Social dancing follows and there is no charge for that.
You may enjoy West Coast Swing. It is a partner dance and you can dance to much of the music in the clubs that is around 100 beats per minute.
Ask for Orion, Jennifer or Ron and they will help you.
I know you did not ask about this, but here is Orion dancing Lindy Hop at Blazzues: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WzlLI2P-zU
Here is another video. Orion was teaching salsa at Blazzues: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYq1Ou0gfag&feature=related
